Set in the Kingdom of Melody, Masters of Melody is a 2D fighting game for 1-4 players focused around music with each character being based around a different instrument. The game follows the Harp, who travels across the kingdom challenging other musicians to duels of musical ability in search of musicians to join his band so they can become the next royal band.

 Masters of Melody is meant to be an introductory fighting game, with mechanics simplified just enough to where you get a classic fighting game experience without some of the greater complexities and a full mission mode with 10 multiplayer missions that teach players about the mechanics of fighting games.

This game was created as an entry for the 2025 GATSA state conference video game design competition
